Vacation... and back to work

It's been a great time off. Time together with Marsha. Red Wing -- watching sunset in the clouds over the Mississippi. Riding the wonderful Cannon River bike trail, the Elroy-Sparta Trail. Sampling local wines, eating walnutburgers at the Trempealeau Hotel & and square pie from Gina's in Wilton. The amazing Midsummer Night's Dream at the American Players Theatre. Meeting friends, singing, enjoying the sounds of Solas and the terrific fiddling of Anna Massie at Milwaukee Irish Fest. No blogging, though I probably checked email more than I should have.

Then there's this morning's Post Crescent, and I'm back to work even before Monday...

The Appleton Public Library is getting more use than ever. Circulation of items has increased 8 percent this year and 55 percent from 2000 to 2007.
